Flexible synthetic bandage for functional support in fractures and soft tissue injuries. Delta-Cast Soft is a light, comfortable and durable support that ensures better mobility and safety for the patient.

It can be used alone or combined with Delta-Cast® Elite / Prelude to achieve increased stabilization in specific areas.

Indications:

- Immobilization and stabilization of injuries.

Composition

Delta-Cast Soft is manufactured from a polyester substrate coated with an isocyanate-based polyurethane resin.

Instructions for use

First apply a tubular bandage and a padded bandage to the area where the bandage is to be applied. If necessary, apply additional padding to bony prominences.

Apply a cut protection strip, if necessary.

Use gloves to prevent the resin from adhering to the user's skin and warm water (25ºC approx.)

Open only one bandage at a time. Open the foil bag by pulling the tab diagonally downwards.

Immerse the bandages one by one in water for 10 seconds, squeezing the bandage twice. When removing the bandage from the water, perform a single firm wringing.

Apply the bandages, overlapping each layer by 50% of the previous one. The number of layers to apply depends on the indication:

layers: semi-rigid immobilization.

6 layers: rigid immobilization.

The molding time is 3 minutes, the initial setting time is 4 minutes and the final setting time is 5 minutes.

The patient can resume activity after 15 minutes.

Delta-Cast Soft molds can be easily removed by cutting with scissors or saw
