Lactate SCOUT Sport

The compact Lactate SCOUT Sport from EKF is used for the determination of lactate in fresh capillary blood samples using an enzymatic-amperometric method, allowing changes in the physical performance and conditions of athletes to be evaluated. It provides reliable measurement results in just 10 seconds and is operated simply and intuitively thanks to its 4-button design. The user can perform individual or stage tests as needed, and there is a handy stopwatch function. Stage measurements include resting value, main load and recovery.

Since the device features a Bluetooth LE module, the collected data can be transferred wirelessly to an external PC with the Lactate SCOUT Assistant analysis software. It is also possible to pair the lactate measuring device with a Bluetooth-compatible heart rate monitor. In addition, the lactate meter compensates for the influence of low or high hematocrit values ​​on the lactate measurement results. The integrated memory can store up to 500 measurement results, which are documented with date and time. On the large electronic ink display (E-Paper), even in difficult lighting conditions, the lactate value, date and time, measurement mode, temperature, heart rate and memory identification can be read.
