Lactate SCOUT Test Strips have been specially designed for use with the Lactate Scout Sport testing device.

Each package contains 25 test strips.

These strips allow for accurate and reliable determination of the lactate value, which is especially relevant for athletes and sports activities.

Recommendations for the correct maintenance of LACTATE SCOUT test strips

• Avoid storing test strips in places exposed to direct sunlight or high temperatures for long periods of time. For long-term storage, the strips must be kept in the closed container in the refrigerator at a temperature between -18°C and 8°C.

• It is essential to temper the Lactate Scout test strips before taking a measurement to ensure that the strips reach a temperature similar to that of the analyzer and thus ensure that the measurements are correct. To do this, when using the test strips it is advisable to take them out of the refrigerator about 20 minutes before using them to reach the same temperature as the analyzer. The test strip is very sensitive to sunlight and humidity, so it is recommended to open the bottle to take a test strip and then close it again. If you need more test strips, take the ones you are going to use.

• Once the bottle of test strips is opened the first time, the storage stability is 3 months or the expiration date, if sooner. After this date the accuracy of the results cannot be guaranteed.

• The test strips can be kept at a temperature of ≤25ºC for a maximum of 30 days inside the closed container. This allows the transfer of the test strips without the need for refrigeration, to store the test strips again in a refrigerator once at their destination.

• Transport the analyzer and test strips in appropriate conditions, with the containers closed and the analyzer properly protected.

• It is important to avoid direct sunlight at all times.
