What is PROSSAGE™ HEAT?

Prossage™ Calor has been specifically formulated for deep tissue work, myofascial relief and trigger point therapy.

Prossage™ Heat makes it easier to “engage” the deep fascia, allowing the therapist to work faster and more efficiently:

- By heating the tissues, the hyperexcited thermoreceptors calm down and thus reduce muscle spasms, ligaments and joint capsules.

- Controlled glide makes deep tissue work easier and less painful.

How does Prossage™ Heat work?

It is important to release the connective tissues or fascia that surround the muscle groups, nerves and blood vessels that lead to the hips, knees, ankles, shoulders, elbows, wrists and neck. Soft tissue release can be deeper and faster. The result is greater blood and oxygen supply to the vascular structures, relaxing the muscles that connect with tendons in each joint. Reducing tension in the tendons of each joint can reduce or completely eliminate trigger points, myofascial pain, tendinitis, and cartilage degeneration in the joints, thus achieving a progressive reduction in joint arthritis.
