    Indications

    Maintenance
This set of therapeutic progressive vaginal dilators has been designed with a material that feels pleasant to the touch, providing slight flexibility so that its insertion and removal is easily performed by the patient. After each session, carefully wash the dilators with warm water and neutral soap. Dry them thoroughly before storing them back in their case until next use. Keep them away from any heat source and in a dry place.

    Disinfection
Rinse thoroughly with water before reusing the dilators after disinfection with cold liquid solutions.

    Contraindications
Do not use in case of pregnancy or suspicion of pregnancy.
Do not use in case of vaginal infection.
    Consult with the specialist.

    Instructions for use
Your therapist has recommended the use of this set of therapeutic progressive vaginal dilators. As instructed, start treatment with the smallest diameter dilator. Once inserted into the vagina, you should be aware of a slight sensation of pressure. Gradually, during the period indicated by your specialist, you should use the larger diameter dilators until you feel completely comfortable. Whenever you start an exercise session, do so with the dilator whose diameter you have already grown comfortably and without difficulty. It is recommended to create an ideal environment, where the patient is alone, unhurried, comfortable and relaxed, to begin the treatment. Once lying on your back with your legs bent, open and relaxed, the exercises can begin. If you need to, you can use a water-based lubricant to make insertion easier. Consult your specialist if you have any questions.

    Before starting the exercises
Practice relaxing the muscles surrounding the vagina, known as the pubococcygeus (PC) muscles, by following the steps below:
Contract your PC muscle as if you were trying to hold in urine and count to three.
Relax. Repeat steps 1 and 2 ten times.
Do this exercise, called a Kegel exercise, 2 times a day.

    Step 1
Start with the smallest dilator. Using a mirror you will be able to see the genital area. Apply a small amount of lubricant to insert the dilator. DO NOT use Vaseline, baby oil, or other oil-based lubricants because they are not water-soluble and can be irritating to the vaginal walls. Tense your muscles as you practiced and relax them before inserting the dilator into the vagina. Each time you contract the PC muscle, hold the dilator so that it does not slide out. As soon as she is relaxed, push the dilator a little further into the vagina.
NEVER force the dilator in. When you are relaxed, it will slide, giving you a slight pressure.
    Step 2
Insert and hold the dilator in the vagina for several minutes. Repeat until you are able to hold the dilator in for ten minutes without discomfort. You may need to hold the dilator with one hand once it is inserted so that it does not slide out. Perform several attempts over several days of exercises.
    Step 3
When you can perform the insertion comfortably and without noticing discomfort, gently move them from side to side. Slide it in and out. Make several attempts over several days of exercises until you no longer notice any discomfort. When you successfully complete step 3, you are ready to start over with step 1 using the next dilator size.
