He Datapir Micro it's a revolutionary spirometer, developed by the R&D&I department of SIBEL, with the collaboration of the Pulmonary Function Laboratory of the “Hospital de la Santa Creu i Sant Pau de Barcelona”
    - The development of the spirometer has been carried out prioritizing its ease of use so that the user can use it easily and comfortably
    - Dispose of two modes of operation: Home mode, which allows the equipment to be programmed to monitor asthmatic patients at home, and Clinical Mode, allows the Datapir Micro to be used as a sophisticated spirometer with multiple use and configuration options.
    Main features
    - 3 models with different expandable configurations
    - Communications via USB (computer and printer) and Bluetooth (optional).
    - Touch screen, PDA type (models B and C).
    - Database >1000 tests with graphics.
    - Export of data to other management systems.
    - Bidirectional volumetric turbine.
    - Integrated pulse oximeter (optional).
    - BTPS fix.
    - Complies with the latest ERS/ATS recommendations (2005).
    - It has a PIN code (for compliance with the Data Protection Law, LOPD).

    Operating modes
Operating modes. It has two operating modes, Home mode, which allows the equipment to be programmed to monitor asthmatic patients at home. It presents the measured value of PEF, FEV1 or FVC on a green, yellow and red color scale (traffic light), as programmed. If programmed in Clinical mode, it allows the DATOSPIR MICRO to be used as a sophisticated spirometer with multiple use and configuration options.

    Transducer
The Datapir Micro has a new axial-type bidirectional volumetric turbine-type transducer with optoelectronic gyro sensor, removable for cleaning and sterilization. The rotation is carried out on sapphire bearings to obtain high reproducibility and durability.

    Communications
One of the great qualities of the DATOSPIR MICRO is its communications system with other media, which allows it to:
    - Transfer equipment checkup data.
    - Update internal software.
    - Transfer a patient's tests to a computer.
    - Export patient tests to other systems.
    - Communications, depending on the configuration, can be carried out through the following channels:
    - Direct USB connection to computer.
    - Direct USB connection to external printer.
    - Bluetooth RS232 serial channel.

    Firmware
The development of the spirometer has been carried out prioritizing its simplicity of use so that the user can use it easily and comfortably. All functions are accessible from the 4 silicone keys located under the selectable screen (model A) or via a pointer (models B and C).

    Security
It has a PIN code (Personal Identification Number) to preserve the privacy of the patient's data stored in its Database as required by the Organic Law on Data Protection (LOPD).

    Maintenance program
The equipment has a maintenance program that allows you to adjust and/or verify options such as configuring calibration and/or maintenance notices, adjusting the screen contrast, equipment self-check, equipment configuration and checking with pre-recorded standard curves.

    Flash memory upgrades
It integrates a Flash memory that allows updating without having to send the equipment to the manufacturer, versions of the program in which improvements have been included, as well as adding options to the equipment (expansion option, bluetooth module, etc.)

    Exporting tests to other systems
The team has the possibility of exporting the tests previously stored in the internal database to other management systems specific to each health center. The information is presented in CSV format, which makes it compatible with multiple management systems

    Pulse oximetry
The DATOSPIR MICRO incorporates an electronic module dedicated exclusively to taking oxygen saturation and heart rate samples. The measurement principle of pulse oximetry is based on the different absorption of certain wavelengths of light (red and infrared) by the arteries, depending on the amount of hemoglobin carried by the red blood cells. The wavelengths used are 660 nm for red and 910 nm for infrared.
    •Two modes of operation:
Specific measurements and up to 8 hours
•Display of SpO2 and PR values.
    •Configurable maximum/minimum SpO2 and PR alarms.
    •Calculation and printing of:
    CT90, HDI, SpO2 max. - min., STD SpO2,
Max PR - med. - min., STD PR.
